I work at what is now Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, formerly the Muscatatuck Developmental Center, a state hospital for mental and physically handicapped people. I haven't had a lot of experiences personally, only a few that have possible explanations outside of the paranormal. However there are other people that have had experiences that can't be explained away. More than one person has told me about hearing furniture moving in buildings when they are the only one in the building, hearing footsteps, voices, etc., and I have heard that a former employee even caught something on video, although I have not been able to confirm this as I have not seen the video. The center is located in southern Indiana, about 40 miles or so East of Seymour Indiana, along highway 50. The nearest town is Butlerville Indiana.

Located in South Central Indiana's Jennings County near Butlerville, Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC) is a secluded, self contained community, once home to the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. The 1,000 acre site was turned over to the Indiana National Guard in July of 2005 and since has been continually evolving into a full-immersion contemporary urban training environment

Sorry about taking so long to reply. To answer a few questions, no it is not just a gym. MUTC is one of the premier urban combat training sites available for military and law enforcement. There are about 60 buildings on the site, which also has its own lake and boat dock, which is open for public access when not in use by the military.
As far as people that i know for sure that have had experiences, at least 5 security officers, and a few civilian workers.
My own personal experiences in detail include: seeing shadowy figures/shadow people, hearing laughter in unoccupied buildings, seeing lights turn themselves on and off, doors locking and unlocking on there own, and generally unwelcome and eerie feelings in certain areas of buildings. I have heard rumors that someone has a picture of a ghostly face on the lake where a resident drowned years ago.
I will be trying to investigate on my own as much as my access to the site and job allow, but my equipment is limited to my digi cam, digital recorder, and a handy-cam.
Edit: yes they had a big airsoft game there a few years ago, I think there are videos of it floating around the net.

Got some good pics here, just haven't had time to analyze yet, I hope to post something by Fri. or Sat. Going to do some EVP work hopefully next week, unfortunately a lot of area is being used for training at the moment.

Finally getting around to posting this. It was taken in the basement of the buildings used to house adolescent boys when it was a mental hospital. The two buildings are connected by an independent underground tunnel, seperate from the other tunnel system on grounds. I was standing in the tunnel looking back at the main room at the bottom of the basement stairs for one of the buildings. Several people, including myself always have the feeling of being watched from that area no matter which end of the tunnel you are on.
Photo was taken with a Nikon P80 digital camera with flash. Notice the motion blur on all objects other than the shadow figure. There was no light behind me, so it wasn't my shadow
As a side note, the jail cells were added after the mental hospital shut down to be used for a mock prison for special forces to train on rescue operations. They didn't keep the kids in them.
Original pic deleted due to improper sizing for the board on my behalf. Please note the new pic posted a little further down.

Again, I'm sorry about the size on the first posting. I work third shift and hadn't been to sleep yet, so was a bit tired and not thinking too clearly about it. This is the same picture with the color and contrast balanced out a bit. The object is circled in red. Looking at it closer I thought it may be paint on the wall playing tricks, but it carries over to an area outside of the jail cell behind it, so I don't think that's the case.♠

The big thing for me is that it looks like the faint outline of a person, and there are people including myself that feel like you are being watched from the area that shadow is in. I'm really hoping I can get back in that building and do some EVP sessions. I would invite other people to join me, but it is a military base, and although I have permission to enter the buildings, I'm not allowed to take non-military personnel with me normally. If anyone is interested in seeing the area though, there is an open house on 10 Oct. 2009. The facility is located near Butlerville, Indiana. The website may have more details.
