At approximately 11:30pm I was driving home and saw what looked like an airplane at a low altitude facing my way. This object had 3 very bright white lights and was shaped as a triangle. When I pulled up to the traffic light ( which was already red) I noticed it wasn't moving..Maybe a helicopter then? Only thing was is that it was completely still and there were no blinking lights on it. As I sat and looked at it searching for my phone to snap a picture the two lights on the side turned off and were immediately replaced by two lights going straight down. (almost like a rod) Two bright white lights one in the top and one in the middle and one red light at the bottom. The light turned green someone was impatient and started honking their horn and when I looked up again it was gone.

Please keep for eyes peeled for articles on line of other people who may have seen this. If you hear something about this please let me know. It was really cool to see change like that and I would really like to know what this was.

Yeah I have been looking for some too b/c I thought I seen something odd during the day on the 14th ..... just wasnt going to post about it

I just read an article from about 2 weeks ago I think in a different part of indiana there was the some thing I saw and it was over a field and was chased off by 5 field helicopters.

Also as a tidbit- The month of July has had a good number of sightings that was kicked of since July 4'th.. July 4'th? basically everyone had eyes on the sky.. hence why there was soooo many reports on the fourth alone all over the country.

Interesting. I have a couple of friends and family in Indiana...wonder if any of them saw this?? I'll send them emails and ask.

Update-
I was wrong about the article. I just reread it, it was last night 5 helicopters chased a triangular shaped object in indiana. Further down the article it talked about some of the other sighting from a couple weeks ago.

I was standing outside my home, object flew over building, maybe 200 yards above building, It was a boomerang shape light, lasted 10 to 20 seconds...Not sure if it were a UFO, definately was not a natural phenomenon from street lights. I could make out the unusual boomerang shape, it made no sound, and disappeared as fast as I could see it... I am not on drugs, not crazy, but I have no clue what I saw, It happened so quick I have to dissmiss it as just all in my head lol. But...

Was it a solid light shaped like a boomarang shaped tube?

I can't say....I still don't understand what I saw...But I know for a fact,it could not have been cars lights: No cars actively moving around at the time, no street light, it was out of range for street light to shine onto, also because it was a solid bright boomerang shape, dipped down 60 degrees, then abruptly accelerated upward....Happened too fast to understand what I saw. It was completely silent, maybe it was a ship moving a little bit slower than "Speed of light?"lol..UFO, Ghost, whatever, I don't know...it was weird...Absolutely nothing to go on to determine what it was....It certainly was not a hallucination...could have been, but then uncertain what would have produced that...I guess this is not an important case worthy incident, but thought it was interesting, considering I can not create one rational explanation for it..

Subjective experience unsubstantiated by any rational explanation, this isn't worth even talking about anymore....
I have saw a ghost of an alien one time...but...thats the end of my experiences with aliens I think....
