Before you do an investigation (In someone’s home) do you have the family sign a waiver stating “if in the unlikelihood something should get damaged or broken they will not hold the paranormal research group liable? I am not sure this is a relevant question but I thought it was worth asking.

Yes, never do an investigation without a liability waiver. Also you should have other forms of legal documents as well such as a document stating that you are allowed on the property/premises that should be signed by not only yourself but the property owner as well just in case the authorities show up for whatever reason, and so for whatever reason the property cannot come back on you and say that you were not allowed to be on the property at that given time. With that being said make sure the times and dates and investigators present are always correct on your paperwork.

Please bring a few hard copies to me Saturday. Also, if you have a digital copy, email me a copy please. Oh, also the form you had at the meeting.
