Hello. I was looking for local paranormal groups when I stumbled upon you site, and I like it. So I decided to share what my mom, brother and myself went through a year and half ago at our old place.
We lived in Olive Hill, ky. It started out simple and easy, cabnit doors swung open in front of my brother, noise and other harmless things. We were curious of course and shared with the landlord, turns out that his son lived and dies there on a drug overdose. Then things started escalating over the course of 6 months or so. The first most notablie incident was when me and my brother were mock fighting and he took off running donw the hall with me hot on his heels, when he was about to run into his room the door slamed into his face and threw him back a good 2 feet (mind you he is 6 foot tall). It was all funny at first, but that wasn't the end. About a month later I was up late to check on the horse every hour because she was going to have a baby. was on the computer to pass the time which had a direct line of sight into my mother's room. About 3 am she wakes up and comes out and askes if I pored water on her. of course I didn't and we go back into her room and turn on the light and the bed was soaked, not damp but litterally soaked, and ice cold. (in the middle of the summer with no air) Freaky but to bad right?
Less then a week later she showered and took a nap after work and when she woke up there was a large nasty scratch down her whole stomach that wasn't there before. after that she slept with a bible under her bed. All the time the feeling in the house was just getting more and more darker and heavy. Then one morning I was laying in bed after waking up just thinking, facing the wall when I heard very distinctive walking footsteps start done the hall toward my room (my brother was sleeping and mom already had left for work.) The steps came all the ways into my room while I feigned sleep and a really heavy exhaling breath on my neck made me rear up and find nothing there. Now that is creepy but what really was upsetting was the feeling of malevolence that came with it. it happened again about a week later at the same time in the morning. By that point I was not a happy camper. I resorted to hanging sage in my doorway and window in order to feel comfortable enough the sleep. By that point the activity in the house had made everyone on edge. (the sage seemed to really work) thankful we moved out and it didn't seem to follow, but those were some stressfull times.

Welcome to the forums, Catylina. This is really interesting. How old was the house? Did you leave it because of the activity? Was the activity common?

The house was only about 3 years old, And we moved because we bought our own home. The sage when hung in my room doorway and window (the entries so to speak) is stopped all activity in my room, but the rest of the house was fair game.

well, my experience has happened a few times, once i was sleeping and woke to a man laying beside me, ( im sure it was not my husband, he was on my oppisite side)..... and the other time a woke to a man standing between the bed and the wall . the next day i asked if what i saw was my real dad, and there was a loud bang, coming from my heating ducts ( my heat wasnt on) .My daughter and i have also heard voices, when i asked them to stop, i heard a distinctive "NO" and "I dont care" . no one was outside, we both checked..... the house is old, not really sure just how old tho .
