I've heard of this house and drove by it recently. I have heard stories about this house being haunted. Does anyone know if it is or not?
I've heard about kids haunting it still to this day. It looked like people lived there so I didn't go up to it. It is a huge house & still looks very old. It is in a subdivision, off of Chamber Road, that has fairly new houses built around it and then you see this big brick house. I would like to know if anyone has heard anything about it and what the story is.

Hi veryone! Thank you for your warm welcomes!
The house is located off Chambers Road in a subdivision called Bed... Land or something like that. I am not sure of the subdivision name. I did google it and it is listed on the historical society. It dates back to 1850. Does anyone know the history of it or heard anything about it?
I know there is suppose to be another house on Chambers, next to the tunnel. Its a small house next to a barn. It's rumored haunted too.
Story goes something like the man shot his newborn then shot his wife that was in the barn, then shot all the horses. The house is about to fall down and is completely empty. So is the barn. It might be a great location to set up an investigation. Not sure who owns it or anything, but surely someone around that area would know something. It looks like a lot of kids have been playing around it. A lot of trash and bottles and all the windows are broken out.

"This place is located in Bedinger's Landing off of Chambers Rd. It is definitely haunted by a little boy and girl and the mom. My dad has told me about this place because he used to work with the girl who still lives there. The little boy and girl plays with toys that are left out for them. I have always had a creepy feeling about this place, especially since I was in it before the subdivision was just beginning to be built. There is also a cemetery at the beginning of the subdivision with the little boy and girl's gravesite. Don't have a camera yet but when I do I will take pictures without being too obvious. The graves are from the 1800s." Forgotten US.com http://www.forgottenus.com/index.php?p= ... place=1879
Might not be a bad idea to do this one along with the Abner Gaines House since we will be in the neighborhood.

I've just learned that the family cemetary is located in the subdivision. It is on the right hand side of the road in between the first and second house. It's up a hill. I haven't heard anything about it other than it is the mother, father, sisters and brothers of the one who built the Hudson house. Someone said that the father only has a birthdate on the tombstone and not a death date, but I am not sure if that is acurate or not. It might be something to look into.
Did anyone go by this house? The house just looks scary even in the daytime. Who knows, though, maybe there's nothing to the stories. Oh, I did read on another site that the well where the small child drown is still on the property. The owners have built a wishing well type wall around it. Someone said that the neighbors had tried to fill it in while the house was vacant, but it would not fill in.
Just wanted to update on this location. Hope you can get a chance to conduct an investigation just to see if anything is going on.
